Krispy Kreme Doughnuts
As the sole designer and writer of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, a local franchise of an international brand, my main tasks were designing the promotions for new flavours of doughnuts and other meals.
Updating the website with new visuals and doughnuts were also regular aspects of my duties, along with web banners and social media posts. I also wrote all content, from promotions, product descriptions to social media posts.
Key Tasks
In charge of designing all material as and when they were needed, from the store side and management.
Food photography; arranging the layout, lighting and backgrounds for all shots.
Managing the social media accounts, handling complaints, queries, feedback, comments and general engagement with audiences in regards to staff, new outlets, quality and business.
Engaging in initiatives across the different brands of parent company, Berjaya Corp, such as cross-promotional material, discount promotions, intranet offers and such.
Writing all social media posts, all texts on the website and all designed material.
Handling all marketing tasks such as keeping track of vouchers, executing promotions and keeping consistency with flavours shared with the US.
Designed visuals to promote Krispy Kreme Doughnuts products and promotions. These visuals were used in various marketing platforms such as printed and digital posters, counter displays and social media. Over the course of one year, the team managed to successfully turn a profit and expand massively.
Developed clear menu designs that were featured in printed and digital display at store outlets, taking note of outlet location, size, distance and promotions we wanted to feature.

The local team adapted a UK store design for its headquarter outlet. I was part of the team that modified the layout to fit our store location as well as designing the marketing visuals and product placements needed to attract customers.
Designed cross-promotional tent cards to be placed at counters and tabletops within the stores, collaborating with brands such as Starbucks and myBurgerLab.
As the photographer, I took product and location shots and implemented them into my designs for promotions and marketing collaterals.
